MARHA ORGANIC FARM

MARHA ORGANIC FARM has an area of 160 hectares divided into sixteen plots irrigated by a watercourse of which 20 hectares are exploited.

MARHA is a laboratory for innovation, a pilot training centre in organic farming based on an integrated sustainable agriculture system to develop an ecological agro-food model in Grand Suza and Cameroon, in a context of growing demand for organic farming products.

In interaction between producers, researchers, farmers and creators, the objectives are:

  • the development of a rural area by increasing the attractiveness of agricultural and rural occupations (job creation, curbing rural migration, etc.).
  • Raising awareness and training of small producers/producers in the village: key to the success of agroecology in Suza.
  • Improving farmers' incomes
  • the promotion of biodiversity through the promotion of non-timber forest products for socio-economic impact.
