Opening of the MAM Foundation Library
A veritable space for discovery and learning, the MAM Foundation's library has a holdings of nearly 5,000 books, covering a variety of topics such as the environment, political sciences, agroecology, history, philosophy, art, applied sciences, as well as a wide collection of novels, poetry and essays. A specific fund is also dedicated to youth literature, in order to make reading accessible to young people.
Since January 2025, Doriane, head of the library, has been in charge of digital processing of documents, including inventory, cataloguing, indexing and rating. Two young collaborators, Yvette and Blanche, living in Grand Suza, are assisting. In order to ensure simplified accessibility for all users, the documents processed are available via an online catalogue, the entire documentary chain is covered, from acquisition to user management (registrations, loans, returns, reservations), The library is a centre for knowledge exchange and transmission, offering animations, literary meetings and educational workshops.
